Rates y Seguros · Rates and Insurance

Care you can afford,
in plain terms.

Clear rates, the full list of insurance plans we accept, and flexible options for clients paying out of pocket. Every number on this page is the number you will pay, with no fine print waiting underneath it.

NUESTRA PROMESA · OUR COMMITMENT

Cost should never be the reason you don't get help.

Inspira was built for a community that has too often been priced out of quality mental health care. Whether you have insurance, a limited budget, or neither, our team will work with you to find a path that is financially sustainable.

SEGUROS ACEPTADOS · INSURANCE

We're in-network with
most major Massachusetts plans.

Our billing team handles the insurance process on your behalf, so you are not left to deal with claim forms or prior authorizations alone. If your plan is not on the list, call us before assuming you cannot be seen.   For bilingual clients, our billing team communicates in both English and Spanish. No need to translate medical terminology on behalf of a family member.

Don't see your plan?

That does not mean we cannot help. Call us at (413) 299-2277 and we will review your options together, including out-of-network coverage or the sliding scale.

TARIFAS · SESSION RATES

Three ways to start,
one commitment to fit your needs.

Our standard session rate is the same across all clinicians. For clients without insurance or with limited coverage, our sliding scale makes care accessible from the first session.

SLIDING SCALE

Sliding Scale

For clients without insurance or whose insurance does not cover therapy. We work together to determine a sustainable rate before your first session, so there are no surprises once care begins.

Availability is limited. Speak with our admin team to
see if the sliding scale is the right fit for your situation.

ANTES DE TU PRIMERA SESIÓN · BEFORE YOUR FIRST SESSION

Five questions to ask your insurance, so there are no surprises later.

If this is your first time using insurance for therapy, these are the questions worth asking before your first session. Our billing team can help you interpret the answers if anything is unclear.

1
Does my plan include mental health benefits?

Most plans do, but coverage for therapy and medication management can differ. Confirm both are included.

2
Do I have a deductible, and have I met it?

Some plans require you to pay a set amount out of pocket each year before insurance begins to contribute.

3
Is there a limit on sessions per calendar year?

A small number of plans cap the number of sessions they will cover in a given year, so knowing your limit up front helps you plan the course of your care with more confidence.

4
What is my copay per session?

The copay is the flat fee you pay at each visit, usually a small fraction of the full session rate, and knowing yours in advance helps you budget for ongoing care.

5
Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?

Some plans require a referral before they will cover mental health
services. If yours does, your PCP can usually provide one.

LO MÁS IMPORTANTE · WHAT MATTERS MOST

We won't turn you away for cost alone.

Talk to us anyway if neither your insurance nor the sliding scale works for you. Our admin team works with each client one-on-one to find a long-term solution. This could be a payment plan, help with understanding your insurance options, or connecting you with community resources that can help.

Inspira was built by a clinician who saw firsthand what happens when cost becomes the wall between a person and the help they need, and that ethic still shapes how we show up today.

FORMAS DE PAGO · PAYMENT METHODS

How you can pay

All major payment methods are accepted. Payment is typically processed through your secure client portal after each session, so there is no awkward transaction at the end of your visit.

Cash and personal check

All major credit and debit cards

HSA and FSA cards

Secure payment through your client portal

Monthly payment plans, by arrangement

CANCELACIONES · CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation policy

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice when you need to cancel or reschedule a session. This gives us time to offer that slot to another client who may be waiting.  Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged the full session rate.

Life happens.

If a genuine emergency or illness comes up, call us. We will
always review these situations on a case-by-case basis.

YOUR RIGHTS UNDER FEDERAL LAW

Under the federal No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or choose not to use their insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before beginning care. We are happy to provide one on request, and will automatically issue one when you schedule self-pay services.

Under the federal No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or choose not to use their insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before beginning care. We are happy to provide one on request, and will automatically issue one when you schedule self-pay services.

If your final billed charges are at least $400 higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you may be eligible to dispute the bill through a federal resolution process.

PREGUNTAS FRECUENTES · FREQUENTLY ASKED

The questions we hear most about rates and insurance.

If your question is not here, call us or send us a message. Our admin team
answers these every day and is happy to help.

  • Insurance is an option at Inspira, not a requirement. Some of our clients use their insurance, others pay out of pocket, and others work with us through the sliding scale, depending on what makes sense for their situation. A good first step is booking a free 15-minute consultation so we can talk through your options before you commit to anything.

  • Call us before assuming we cannot help. Some plans we list as "not accepted" still offer out-of-network benefits that cover a portion of the cost. Our billing team can verify your coverage and explain what your out-of-pocket portion would actually be. If nothing works, the sliding scale may still be an option.

  • Our sliding scale ranges from $75 to $150 per session, based on income, household size, and circumstances. After your initial consultation, our admin team will talk with you about where your fee falls on the scale, and you will agree on a rate before your first session. Once set, your rate stays consistent, so you can plan around it.

  • This depends entirely on your plan. Most plans do not limit sessions, but a small number do. Our billing team checks this for you during the intake process, so you know what to expect before you start. If your plan has a limit, we will let you know in advance and talk through your options if you approach it.

  • Yes. Therapy and medication management at Inspira are eligible expenses under most HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) plans. Simply use your HSA or FSA card the same way you would use a debit card. If your provider asks for a receipt or documentation, our billing team can generate one for you.

El próximo paso · Take the Next Step

Cost is something we can
figure out together.

Reaching out is the one step only you can take. Once you do, our team will
walk through your options with you, in the language that feels most like home.
