Too many mental health referrals go cold because of waitlists, language barriers, or
insurance walls. Inspira was built to remove those walls, so your patients and loved
ones actually get to their first session.

Bilingual care across every
service

Our team of fifteen clinicians delivers therapy and medication management in English and Spanish, with select services in Portuguese for the Brazilian community. Patients never have to translate their own symptoms or explain their culture before getting help.

No waitlist · Sessions within one to two weeks

While most Massachusetts practices have month-long waitlists, Inspira delivers a first session within one to two weeks of referral. Urgent cases can often be seen sooner when flagged through our intake team.

MassHealth, sliding scale, and major insurance

We accept MassHealth and major Massachusetts insurance plans, and offer a sliding scale for clients without coverage. Cost rarely becomes the reason a referral does not follow through.

Within 1 Business Day

Our admin team contacts the person within
one business day. We introduce Inspira
warmly, answer their questions, and begin the
intake process at a pace that feels
comfortable for them.

Optional follow-up to you

For All Referrers

With the patient's written consent, we can confirm the first appointment is scheduled and share high-level updates on continuity of care, so the circle around your patient stays closed.

For clinical referrers: feel free to include diagnostic codes, treatment history, or attached records via the follow-up email from our intake team.

Urgent referrals are triaged by our intake team as soon as received. Inspira does not provide crisis services. For acute crisis, please direct the patient to 988 or emergency services.

CONSENT & AUTHORIZATION

HIPAA notice: By submitting this form, you confirm that you have either obtained the patient's authorization to share their protected health information with Inspira Counseling Center for the purpose of referral, or that the information shared is limited to what is necessary to facilitate an initial outreach. Inspira treats all information received as protected health information under HIPAA and applicable Massachusetts law.

Our intake team will confirm receipt of your referral within three business days.

If this is your first time using insurance for therapy, these are the questions worth asking before your first session. Our billing team can help you interpret the answers if anything is unclear.

Consent-driven communication

No patient information is shared without written authorization. Once consent is on file, we can confirm appointment status, share treatment plan summaries, and coordinate on clinical decisions.

Collaboration with PCPs and specialists

Medication management and perinatal mental health benefit most from multi-provider coordination. Our clinicians are accessible for case consultation by phone or encrypted email.

First appointment confirmation

With patient consent, we notify referring providers when the first
session is scheduled, so you know the referral has not gone cold on our end.
